The Townsville District has a very transient population, meaning many of us have no family here. It helps to speak with others who are in the same situation, or have experienced what you are going through. Our Multiple Friendships are important to us!
The club has many books and DVDs available for loan to financial members of the club.
These information evenings are held about four times a year. We try to arrange for "people in the know" to come along, as well as other club members, to offer information and answer any questions.

The Multiple Birth Association Bereavement Support Group (MBABS) is a nationwide club affiliated with AMBA. They provide a means of communication for bereaved multiple birth families; and a forum for the sharing of information relating to the tragedy of multiple birth loss.

Our "home" is Heatley Hall, on the corner of Fulham Road and Lindeman Avenue, Heatley.
(Turn into the carpark of Long Tan Swimming Pool and Tennis Courts.)
Please bring food for your children, morning tea will be provided for parents.
Every second week we visit other venues. Contact us for details, or check the calendar for venues (BYO food).
Families and multiples of all ages are welcome to attend. If you would like to host a morning tea, please contact the Morning Tea Co-ordinator.
The Australian Multiple Birth Association Inc (AMBA) has a register for families with children who have special needs. They can put you in touch with other people in the same situation as yourself, and there is no need to be a member of AMBA to be involved. Strict privacy rules apply, so your contact details are only given to other families who are on the Register.

Being diagnosed with TTTS may be overwhelming. You will receive a lot of information about treatment options when you are in the diagnosis of the syndrome, and discuss a lot of "what ifs". You may be wondering "Who can I turn to? Where can I find more information? I wonder if anyone else has gone through this?"
The Australian TTTS Support Group is a group of parents who have experienced a pregnancy affected by TTTS.
